My Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking is a way of life for me now.It has been for over 4 years. I love journaling, taking photos of my family and love colour and texture, these are all part of my everyday life and scrapbooking.

The house is a tip, my kitchen is piled to the rooftops with dirty dishes, the ironing pile isn't looking that bad, and i decided to start on my new studio! Madness i know, and with a retreat only 5 days away, i must be barking!
Half the room is painted, the floor is down and the units are placed, and that will have to be it till next week!
In the meantime i did manage a few layouts.

This weeks Pencil Lines, sketch by Jana Eubank.

And here is another layout using this months Scrapping Angels kit and also a 365 layout :)


This last week over at 365 we are doing the Seven Heavenly Virtues. One of the 365ers found a fab quiz to do and I came out as "CHARITY".

Here is my "FORTITUDE" photo and journaling.


FORTITUDE - strength of mind that enables one to endure adversity with courage.
this week i have needed strength of mind and courage. After hearing nasty, cruel things written about myself and my looks all because of my 365 portraits, we sometimes live in a very cruel world :(


It proves you cannot please all of the people all of the time. You photo shop your photos and they are not real, you leave them looking more "au natural" and you are criticized for the "looks" you were born with. Hey, I come complete with age spots, which i hate!, a fat face, dry lips when stressed, hair that falls out (boohoo) and many more ailments to mention, but this is me, and this is the person i need to reflect in my 365 photos!

I will stand of my soap box, lol, and get on with DT deadlines, doing the housework, and all the other mundane tasks of being a WAHM !

    You tell em' hunny, you are beautiful as you are. Who wants to look at fake photos!! Nobody is perfect, and you should be applauded for doing 365!!

    And...what are you doing re-decorating a few days before the retreat, oh my goodness LOL.

    Hey Anna,
    You don't know me but I read yours and the other pencil lines blogs every week and really enjoy them all. I havent read the comments you refer to but can imagine the kind of things they say from your comments. I just wanted to let you know how much pleasure reading about your lovely family and seeing your great photos and layouts gives me (normally while eating lunch at my desk!) and to say don't give up because you are much stronger than them.

    Are you kidding me? You are beautiful and don't let anyone make you feel that you're not. Mean people suck and they usually have some serious issues with themselves and that's why they feel they have to be mean to others..just to try and make themselves feel better.
