Knit one, purl one!

blogged by me domestic goddess On 8/26/2009 10:00:00 PM
I have been busy the last day knitting away, and now have a gorgeous black bobble scarf! Lilly and Izzy think its hysterical and now call me Granny!! Lilly likes to help by passing me some "knit", better know as wool to you and me. Lilly now wants to learn how to knit, bless her.

This is what I am working on now, in a gorgeous soft pink!

Gorgeous patterns at Cosmic Pluto. Next on my list is this self stripey shawl!

Are you new to knitting or a veteran? Any good yarn sites and inspo out there that I must check out, do post in the comments :)

Thanks for stopping by

It's very addictive! Have been knitting since I was a child and my mum and nan both knit too.

If you like reading books you should try Gill McNeils 'Divas Don't Knit'. Lovely story about a mum, who moves to the seaside to run her grans woolshop, makes me want a woolshop of my own ;o)

LOVE IT!!! I have recently become addicted to knitting again, as scrapping seems to take too much effort to set up while being 8months pregnant!

been thinking about my own shop since reading Friday Night Knitting Club, guess I have the bug!!!

Join Ravelry - it's a great source for patterns or help or just about anything you want to know about knitting. There's a lovely yarn shop at Bury St Edmund's (Wibbling Wools) and another at Woburn Sands (The Knitting Hut).
