WW2 Evacuees

blogged by me domestic goddess On 10/28/2010 10:57:00 PM
Last week, the girls both spent a day as WW2 evacuees, complete with gas mask box and name tag!
School dinners was representitive of a meal during WW2, (much to Izzy's dislike, the portions were too small LOL). The day started with some Vera Lynn, and the day ended with song and dance at the street party held in the hall; bunting flags and a buffet!

here is my "posh evacuee" (Izzy's words not mine)

and my French evacuee ( because she had a pink beret on!)

and here is one of both my little evacuees

I am getting nearer and nearer to finalizing my new photography site. Have a portrait session to do on Saturday and a baby boy shoot in a couple of weeks, which I am so looking forward too! My client had seen my work on facebook, and contacted me! The wonders of the world wide web....

Thanks for stopping by
